DRY
- FITTING
Before
you get to gluing any of your pieces
together, you should "Dry Fit"
them. Hold adjacent pieces together
and take a close look at how they line
up with one another. This is when small
imperfections in your cutting will reveal
themselves. Whether it is a matter of
detail or alignment, you need this oppurtunity
to make small trimming adjustments (or
create patches and backers, or band-aids
for missing tabs) BEFORE you glue the
pieces together!

becuase, well,...that is awfully dull!
We felt we needed to make a page in
this basic steps especially for dry
fitting becuase it is sooooo important
and so easily over-looked. As experienced
paper modelers, we admit that we still
sometimes forget to dry fit pieces from
time to time. Fixing such mistakes is
a topic we will cover soon in our Advanced
Tips section.
